I accidentally deleted my document / draft. Can I get it back?

Yes! If you deleted your document or draft by mistake, we can restore it for you—this is a quick and easy fix.

Just email us at support@ellipsus.com and include:

• The URL or document ID (if you still have it)

• The time and date of deletion (if you don’t have the URL)

We’ll run a quick recovery script and get it back for you.

Deletions and lost work are two different issues

If your document is missing and you think it might have “disappeared”, ask yourself whether you might have deleted it (even accidentally).

If you remember clicking delete—or removing the main document from a shared folder—it’s likely a deletion, and we can quickly restore it for you.

If you’re sure you didn’t delete it, your issue may be related to sync issues or lag. In that case, check out My changes aren’t syncing, My document is missing text, and My dashboard isn’t loading to troubleshoot.

Note: this does not necessarily mean your work is lost, and in most cases will be accessible after troubleshooting.
