Setting a password

You can now set a password for your account—no more digging through your inbox for login codes every time you sign in.

Code login is still available if you prefer it, but passwords make it much faster (and easier!) to jump back into your writing. (And yes—you can set whatever weird password your heart desires.)

Note: When you set a password, Ellipsus will log you out of your active sessions. You’ll need to log back in on each device—but don’t worry, your work will be saved automatically.

How to set your password

1. Go to your Settings page.

2. Enter your desired password.

3. Confirm, and you’re all set.
