Display name
Your display name is what’s visible to your collaborators in Ellipsus. It can be anything you want: your first name, your pen name, your Discord handle…
Your display name will appear:
on document and draft cards
in comments
in chat messages (when others @-mention you)
in notifications
in the
Collaboratorsmenu
Email address
Currently, it’s not possible for users to update the email address they use with Ellipsus. If you need to update your email address, please reach out to us via in-Ellipsus support with the new email address you would like to use.
Note: If you are using a privacy-focused provider (e.g. ProtonMail, Posteo) or a custom domain, you must manually add Ellipsus.com to your allow list or you will be unable to receive one-time codes and other critical account emails.
We cannot process the change until confirmation of this step is received.
Password
Click the "reset password" button to begin the process. When you (re)set a password, Ellipsus will log you out of your active sessions. You’ll need to log back in on each device.
Profile picture
To set or update your profile picture:
Go to your Account Settings
Choose from:
A color avatar with the first letter of your display name
Or upload your own image from your device
Your avatar appears with your name in comments, chat, and the collaborator menu. Other users will only see your display name and avatar—your email address stays private unless you're the document owner.
Plan and billing information
You can manage your Plus plan from the Billing and plans section of your settings page. For more information on changing your Ellipsus Plus plan, see Managing your Plus plan.
