Troubleshooting tips for PWAs

Modified on Fri, 17 Jul at 4:45 PM

If you're having trouble with Ellipsus in a PWA, the first thing you'll want to do is is to check the regular browser version, a private/incognito window, and another browser to see if the issue occurs there as well.

  • If your issue persists in a private browsing session and another browser, it's also a good idea to check another device and network if possible.
  • If your issue does not persist in a regular browser, it's time for a fresh PWA!

To refresh your PWA

  1. Export a copy of your logs + stored data (available in your settings page) from the PWA just in case
  2. Click/tap “Clear app data” (also in your settings page) in the PWA
  3. Delete the PWA
  4. Close any Ellipsus tabs in the regular browser, then clear your cache + site data for Ellipsus
  5. Close your browser
  6. Restart your device
  7. Log in in a fresh tab in your browser and see if you’re still experiencing issues
  8. (if not) Create a new PWA; (if so) Submit a ticket with the details of your issue and the logs + stored data you downloaded
