Invite writers to collaborate
If you want to collect feedback or suggested edits from another writer (or many writers!), you can invite them to edit your document.
Tap the three lines on the top right to open the right-hand panel and tap Collaborators, then enter your collaborator’s email address, choose their role, and tap Send invite.
Add comments on drafts
In addition to editing, you and your collaborators can discuss changes directly in your documents. With comments, you can annotate text in a draft and share specific feedback. There are two ways to add a comment:
From the toolbar
Open a draft
Highlight a section of text
Horizontally scroll the toolbar and tap the comment icon
Type your comment into the input field and tap the send icon
From the right-hand panel
Open a draft
Highlight a selection of text
Open the right-hand panel and tap Comments
Type your comment into the input field and tap Comment
Chat with collaborators
Instead of switching between apps, you can chat directly in Ellipsus. Open the right-hand panel and tap Chat to open a dedicated chat window.
Every view in a document—so the main doc and any drafts—hosts a separate chat, so you can keep conversations focused and in context.
Share or export your document
It’s easy to share a document or draft on the go. Navigate to the version you wish to share, then tap on the hamburger menu and tap Share & export to get started. You can copy a link, download a PDF, or copy the text as HTML, Markdown, or Rich Text.
